The restoration of Agios Germanos guesthouse was supervised by the government authorities and followed strict laws regarding the preservation of local architecture.

This is why you will not find some of the modern amenities in the rooms, like air-conditioning (Also, the local climate and stone walls make its use unnecessary).

Agios Germanos Guesthouse is a great hotel in Prespa that offers daily housekeeping, private bathroom (shower), and TV in all rooms. Some of our rooms have a fireplace.

Agios Germanos Guesthouse has also a restaurant that is the gathering point during the day: You can have your breakfast here, made up from fresh eggs and milk, homemade pies and marmalades, tea from herbs or even the traditional "trahana" or "hylopites" soups. It is also a lovely cafe, and you can spend some time by the fireplace or in the yard. Then, you can have your home-cooked lunch or dinner here: You just have to tell us, and we will prepare a delicious meal. Finally, do not hesitate to mix with the locals over a bottle of wine until late in the evening.

For your recreation, we and our staff members will be more than happy to pass you information about the Prespa Lakes, gives you tips about things to do in Prespes and of course we can arrange for you a wide variety of activities as the area of Prespes is ideal for many nature activities and of course birding! Activities like boating, mountain bike, bird watching, cultural visits in Prespa Lakes and many more can be easily arranged by us!
